Ridgewood Loft
Conversion and Complete renovation of a multi-family house in Ridgewood, Queens, NY.
We had just finished proofing our book Alvar Aalto and the Future of Architecture, whose final chapter includes thermodynamic consideration’s that we hope to design with the experience of our spaces, and our client tells us she is publishing the renovation we did with her in dwell.
Dwell had picked up the clean space and the sensory experience that comes with the client's family occupations which led to the choices made to complete and decorate the spaces.
We turned the existing retail space into a loft.
