VILLAGE GREEN
(
Pueblo
Verde)
Santa Fe, New Mexico
The water gardens are developed by capturing rain water. These gardens work in conjunction with a cistern and a heat sink at the roof. The photovoltaics that occupy part of the roof generate a great deal of heat. This heat is captured/removed by the capture of water. Water circulates into the garden, cooling it in the shade or re-circulates into the walls of the upper prefabricated unit blocks.
