Vineyard House is located in Napa Valley, California and was built for a family who has a long history in this area. The home is approximately 2500 square feet. Its appearance is as series of three clean white horizontal trays which cantilever over the grounds. The clean white lines are a perfect foreground to the green ground green vines and blue sky. The structure is steel, glass, and clean white aluminum panels and rails. The spaces rotate around a center core of structure. The private sleeping spaces are at the bottom and the social living spaces are at the top. The house terraces over the land.
